Men’s competition day is Sunday, with Saturday as the alternate day. Typically medal and stableford competitions are played across the two days, with any prizes awarded to the best score of the weekend. Weekend medal and stableford competitions are primarily played via a draw on Sunday mornings, as a roll-up from 8am on Saturday, or via members arranging their own groups and booking tee times.
Trophy stroke-play competitions are played on one specific day, normally a Sunday. Members wishing to play in the Sunday competition should enter the draw to be certain of getting a tee time.
Several friendly matches against other clubs are held between March and October. Selection for these matches is available to full, 5-day plus and intermediate and is not based on handicap. Matches are typically played on a Saturday afternoon, with brunch before and sandwiches afterwards.
